Illustrator type tricks

It’s a new year and I was feeling the itch to create something. I ran into this dynamic text tutorial on BittBox and since I’m a big fan of type tutorials, decided to give it a whirl.

I didn’t use the pattern suggested in the tutorial, instead making my own patterns. But it was a great tutorial and pretty easy to follow. The results:

I highly recommend checking out that tutorial; it could come in handy if you’re making flyers or postcards and want some tricked-out text.
